Ruins of St. Cucufate Monastery - Vidigueira - Portugal

Woman and tree spoted near the ruins of a 15th Century Monastery where lived the famous Portuguese navigator Vasco da Gama (1460 - 1524). Gama was the first european to reach India by sea and he lived his last years in this southern region of Portugal, as Count of Vidigueira . He was keen of the female beauty. This tree is old enough to be contemporary of Gama.
